Belgium 2024

With backpacks packed, our Explorer unit (14-18yrs) headed off to Belgium in May to explore Brussels, Leuven and stay at a Belgian Scout Camp! Here’s a snapshot of what we got up to.

Explorers headed off independently in groups to try local cuisine. It was great to see them organising themselves, and sticking to a budget!

After city exploring, we were on the move again to travel to Leuven.

Bag drop while we explored the beautiful University City of Leuven and found tasty lunch!

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
